MINI KICKER FAQ's:
What is the mini kickers youth instructional program?
The mini kickers youth development program is an instructional program designed to expose kids with very little or no soccer playing experience, to the basic fundamentals of the game. Sessions include individual skills instruction and incorporate soccer oriented games and soccer festival activities throughout the program.
Who are the instructors?
Program instructors are individuals with soccer playing and/or coaching experience
with an aptitude for working with young soccer participants. The program is a great
experience for boys and girls and, in most cases, is a great way to introduce kids to
the game of soccer.
What are the benefits?
The primary benefit of the program is the individual instruction kids receive
throughout the program. Sessions are limited to 10-12 kids per instructor so that
each child can receive individual attention within the group setting. Most parents seek
out this program apart from other soccer activities offered through other organizations
because of the instructional component in addition to playing games.
Parents are invited to stay on site to observe sessions. It's a great soccer and social activity for kids and parents alike.
What is the program cost?
$65 for the session and the fee includes the "official" Lake Country Soccer Youth Development Program t-shirt for each registered participant.
What if I sign my child up and s/he doesn't like the program?
You may withdraw your child from the program at any time. However, refunds are
prorated based on the number of sessions attended and minus the cost of the t-shirt.
Can I sign my child up for the Minor League AND the Mini Kickers Program?
Yes. We schedule activities to afford kids the maximum opportunity to enjoy our
programs and facilities.
