Major League

League includes 8 games. Major league outdoor coaches choose game dates at scheduling meeting. Register as a team or an individual for team placement. If there are enough individual players we can create a new "house team". Otherwise we contact other teams playing in that age division to see if they have room on the team roster. In that case there may be additonal uniform costs. We cannot guarantee player placement but will return registration fee if a team is not found.

Guidelines for registration with Lake Country Soccer (LCS) Major Leagues:

1. All players must be registered in the gotsoccer registration system by February 13, 2017. All players must also submit a copy of their birth certificate.

2. League Fees:  All team league fees listed above must be paid in full prior to your first game.  Team will not be scheduled for play if the deposit of $100  is not paid by the February 13th deadline. Player cards from Fall 2016 are to be used again for Spring 2017. Only new players not on the team in the fall will require a new player card in spring.  Player cards will be paid for seperately and must be paid when picking up cards. Competive player=$16, Recreational player=$8, Dual roster=$8.50. Only NEW players need to pay for a player card in the spring.

3. Player Card Request Form:  A Player Card Request Form must be filled out and submitted with payment in order to receive your team's player cards.  LCS Administrative staff will notify teams as their player cards are ready for pick-up.  Teams will need to add a picture to each card prior to laminating them.  Fees for player cards are listed above.

4. Dual Roster Request Form: – If you have a player who wishes to play on 2 different teams at Lake Country Soccer for outdoor leagues, the player MUST submit a DUAL ROSTER REQUEST FORM signed by both team’s coaches. Any player that is dual rostered must be designated as Primary or Secondary in Gotsoccer . Each team must be competing in different divisions.

5. Scheduling Requests:  A mandatory scheduling meeting will be held on Saturday February 25th to schedule all league games. If a representative from your team is not present, your schedule will be completed without you and no changes will be made after that date.  League games can begin on Saturday March 25th and are tentatively scheduled to conclude around May 21st.

6. Game Change Request form:  Use this form if you would like to request a game change or you want to schedule a rainout game on a day other than the assigned day.  This form must be submitted no less than 10 days prior to scheduled match to be considered. Teams wanting to change the scheduled game must contact their opponant to choose a mutually agreed upon date prior to submitting form to LCS. Charge to change a published game is $75.

7. Player Cards and Rosters:  LCS will utilize US Youth Soccer league issued player cards and rosters for league games for U9 and above. Before every league game, coaches in the major leagues will be required to present the referee with a photo copy of their original roster and laminated cards for all players and coaches. Roster size limits and age restrictions will be enforced.

8. MYSA Medical Release and Liability Form:  The medical consent / liability release waiver must be kept with the coach at all practices and games. The form must be completed in full, signed by a parent/guardian but does NOT need to be notarized. This document is used in the event of injury to the player and the parent/guardian is not present.  The release is valid for as long as all information on the form is correct.

9. Roster Changes:  Any modifications to your roster will need to be completed by your club registrar in the got soccer registration system. If LCS is your registrar, please email katie@lakecountrysoccer.org to make any changes and provide necessary paperwork.

10. Scholarship Information:  Scholarships are available to those children who sign up as individuals who receive free or reduced school lunch but does not apply to any player playing or rostered on an existing team. To apply for a scholarship, please submit a completed scholarship application and a copy of your child's Free or Reduced Lunch letter from school.

11. Required Coaching Certification:  All coaches at LCS must be certified with a minimum Youth Coaching Certificate (formerly called an  'F' License).  The "Youth Certification" Clinic will be held at LCS on Tuesday March 21st and is free for LCS coaches. Register at missourisoccer.org and mark check when asked for payment. All coaches must possess a current approved background check through MYSA.  Email katie@lakecountrysoccer.org to begin the process.

12. Web Site Reminder:  Just a reminder, e-registration for individuals and team, signup information, league schedules, important dates and downloadable forms can all be found on our website  www.lakecountrysoccer.org. On-line registration only notifies LCS of your intention of playing at LCS.  The league deposit of $100 must be in the LCS Office no later than February 13th for scheduling purposes.  Coaches are responsible for communication regarding all reschedule information to their players.

13. Practices:  Please contact Katie Ellsworth at katie@lakecountrysoccer.org or Tawny Brown at tawnyb@lakecountrysoccer.org or call 417.862.3211 to schedule practices at any of the Lake Country fields/complexes.

14. Individual players (house players):  These players sign up with LCS to be placed on a team. Please remember to indicate how many individual players your team can take if your team is looking for additional players to fill a roster.

15. Pass Back Program:  LCS currently collects soccer cleats which we in turn pass on to those players who are under financial constraints. Please contact the LCS Office for assistance with this program.

FAQ - Coach Registration / BACKGROUND CHECKS

If I already SUBMITTED online at mysa.org, do I need to do another one on Got Soccer?
Yes, since all registrations for leagues and tournaments are now online through Got Soccer,  no coach, manager, or referee can be applied to a team or event unless they have done a background check through Got Soccer.

What will this cost me?
Nothing.  The state is incurring all background check costs.

If I am a coach and a manager, and have multiple accounts, do I need to fill out multiple checks?
Yes.  You will need to submit a report for each account you have, but the system applies a single background check to all accounts.  Just be sure that the data is identical.

I do not have a coaches or manager account. How do I get one?
Have your club registrar log in to their registrar account and create a coaches or manager account for you.  Lake Country Soccer's COACH REGISTRATION/MANAGER REGISTRATION hyperlinks will redirect to the appropriate account registration system.

I have login information (username and password) but the system does not recognize it or says that it is 'Invalid'.
Your username and password need to be reset.  The club registrar will be able to do this.

My background check has been pending for a few days now.  What is the hold up?
Your background check is pending because the report came back with a past infraction on it.  The office then will manually process the check to verify the individual's information and the infraction.  The office will contact the individual directly within the next few days.
